Director, Safety and Security at BXP

Alan Snow is Director, Safety and Security for BXP and currently has overall security and emergency management responsibility for 50 commercial real estate properties totaling 16 million square feet in the Boston Region.   Prior to joining the commercial real estate industry, Alan worked in the financial services sector for twelve years in a number of security, emergency management and business continuity roles.  Alan has 40 years of experience in security and emergency management, is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and is a member of ASIS, BOMA and NFPA.

Alan is very involved in several public/private sector initiatives on the national, state and local levels, including the ASIS - Commercial Real Estate Community, the Real Estate ISAC-Business Advisory Committee, the Real Estate Roundtable-Homeland Security Task Force, National Preparedness Leadership Initiative (NPLI), Domestic Security Alliance Council (DSAC), InfraGard Boston, FBI Boston Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), Boston Regional Intelligence Center - Private Security Advisory Committee, BOMA Boston Emergency Preparedness Committee, multiple Boston local public/private security information sharing networks in the Back Bay, Kendall Square, South Station, North Station geographic areas, as well as Waltham, MA.
