Sienna Dutkowski
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Sienna attended the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University, graduating in May ’07. Shortly after graduation, she moved to South Sudan where she managed residential and office compounds to include the US Consulate compound. While working in South Sudan, Sienna discovered her passion for community development and in 2013 joined her friends in opening the American School of South Sudan. After the onset of the conflict of 2013, Sienna and her husband moved to Kenya. In Kenya, Sienna joined the board of the Nancy Ellen Crooks Foundation learning more about community development in the Kenyan space.
Currently, Sienna is a Director at Lady Askari, a company she founded with her husband in 2020. Lady Askari is a Security Risk Management company serving a diverse range of organizations from non-profits to multinational corporations with East African interests. They specialize in security risk management, information services, protective services, crisis management, security training and more.
Lady Askari is a female-focused company dedicated to providing opportunities for women to not only enter the security industry but more importantly, gain experiences that will help them to rise in the ranks. Sienna uses her passion for community development to help elevate women within the security industry and uses Lady Askari to do good within the communities in which the company operates.
